Therapy should not be me telling you what to do, what not to do, or what you are doing wrong. Therapy is for you. I want to customize therapy for what you need and want, and find what will work best for you.  Whether you need space to talk, feedback, or new skills and tools, we will work together to help.

Your goals may be to better manage situations, decrease symptoms, improve relationships, gather insight, or many other things.  Whatever they may be, you are worth carving out time in your busy life to make it happen.  Life is hard.  Life is work.  And we don’t always do things in the most effective or logical way.

Frequently, people only seek support once they are completely overwhelmed.  If this describes you, that’s okay! We will work to get you less overwhelmed and more in control.  If it doesn’t describe you, that’s okay, too.  We will work to get things working smoother in your life.

I use a variety of techniques and theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure Therapies.
