“Life is full of ups and downs. The trick is to enjoy the ups and have courage during the downs”

There will always be times when things become difficult in your life. When you find yourself in one of those difficult times it’s important to tap into your courage – the courage to help yourself, and the courage to seek help from others.

If you are looking for help during the "downs of life" or are seeking more meaning during your "times of ups" you have come to the right place. I will support you on your towards wellness and wellbeing, whatever that might mean for you. Looking to instill more positivity or happiness into your life? Struggling with your personal or professional path forward? Having troubles with relationships with others or with yourself? Searching for self-growth and flourishing?

I am committed to providing you with support, guidance, care, and compassion on your life journey. I can help you take positive steps towards your goals – whether you’ve identified them already or need support in doing so. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, resiliency, and resources to help you create a meaningful life that embraces both the ups and the downs.

About me.

Sports enthusiast, avid fan of superhero movies, always looking for warmer weather!

I’ve always had an affinity for story-listening – to be on the receiving end of the wisdom, knowledge and experiences of others. My genuine curiosity to learn about other people has been a guiding compass for me throughout my life and was a major reason why I chose to become a social worker.

The stories I’ve heard over the years are a reflection of where I’ve been. I have had the privilege of traveling to, and living in, many cities around the world. Originally from Central Florida, I have bounced around to cities such as New York, Cape Town, Los Angeles, and currently, Washington D.C. I am consistently awed and humbled by the vibrant cultures and communities around the world and maintain a deep respect for the unique intersectional perspectives that individuals bring to their everyday lives. Along with my travels and the people I’ve met along the way, my life has also been shaped by those closest to me.

There is not a single individual in this world who has not been impacted, either directly or indirectly, by issues of mental and physical health, interpersonal relationships, or general life difficulties. My own life struggles, and those of my family members and friends, are important reminders that life is intricately tied with obstacles and that our steps forward in life are not without some steps backward scattered in-between. But I have seen the power that lies within all people to continue to put one foot in front of the other, to persevere endlessly towards wellness and happiness.

Every time I reach out a hand of support to someone, I do so with the strength of everyone who has shared with me their own pathways forward.

I spend most of my down-time playing soccer, avidly watching and re-watching Marvel superhero movies, and relaxing with my partner.
